One Day Workshops:
Appliqué Design for the Artistically Challenged
shows students how to design their very own appliqué without drawing a line. Be prepared to play with colors and shapes. Bring a playful spirit, your inner child will definately be in charge during this class.
Hand Appliqué by Machine
, learn how to imitate the look of fine appliqué with your sewing machine. When you finish the small wallhanging size project, you will know how to convert any applique pattern to this lovely method of applique
Power Quilting:
Learn how to get the very most out of your quilting time. Improve your piecing skills, learn the magic of proper pressing techinques and discover how the right tool for the job makes everything easier. We will be piecing a small wallhanging
Machine Quilting
in this workshop, we learn how to take advantage of the speed of machine quilting without sacrificing the look of traditional hand quilting. From basting to binding, we'll cover the basics and more. Tons of information on batting, fabric, needles, threads, washing and care. You must have a walking foot, darning foot and droppable feed dogs for your machine .
