My friend, Dwan Hackman, just saw you at her guild meeting
in Michigan and gave me your web address. I am in charge
of our raffle quilt for 2007. Would we be able to use your
patter for our quilt ? Also I'm in charge of getting speakers for our fifth Tuesday meetings which there are 4 in 2006. I will check into the cost of having you come to
our meeting and if it's covered by our budget.

Elane Pegues, Manti.. Utah writes at Saturday, 29-Oct-05 17:17:57 EDT:
I just found your website this morning, and it's hard to pull myself away from it. I have quilted for many years, but the idea of applique is something beyond my expertise. I have the feeling that now, after seeing your website, I will try applique on something small like a pillow top. Then I will have better courage to try it on a quilt. Thank you for your website. I'm sure I'll learn a lot.
Ginette Pethig, New Zealand writes at Friday, 28-Oct-05 16:49:44 EDT:
Hi Beth - Have just finished watching you on Simply Quilts (the August Show - it is now 29/10/05). I work full time and can only watch SQ on Sat & Sun am so I was extremely lucky to catch your episode. Thank you so very much for the informative tips you gave on piecing. I am a comparitively new quilter I enjoy it very much but being a bit of a perfectionist I get very irritated with myself if something does not match up perfectly. My husband assures me no one else would ever notice but we quilters do - don't we? With the tips you gave (and which I have downloaded from the SQ website) I look forward to not having too many problems in the future. We are currently building a new home and I will soon have my own mezzanine studio and really be able to get stuck into my quilts. I look forward to buying some of your wonderful books and learning more. Once again thank you so much for sharing your skill, knowledge and enthusiasm with us. Ginette.
Susan Dillard, Oldtown, Idaho writes at Wednesday, 19-Oct-05 22:47:42 EDT:
I was so happy to fine your website. I saw you on Kaye Woods show the other day and loved the demo you did on Hand Appliqueing by Machine. I tried to order your book, but was sad to learn it was out of print. I did find the directions on the HGTV website, so that should help. I haven't explored your website yet, so I better go do that now. Thank you so much for making a technique I never thought I could do (due to tendonitis) look so easy!
Becky, Oklahoma writes at Monday, 10-Oct-05 00:25:09 EDT:

I've been planning a quilt for my nephew & his wife but haven't been successful. They live in Vermont and love the fall colors and scenery. While at the Metro Detroit Quilt Guild show March 20, 2005, I found your book "Out of the Cupboard and Onto the Bed". On the cover was a quilt very similar to what I had in mind. What a treat to discover the name of the quilt is "Vermont Dreams". It will be just perfect for them and I can't wait to get started on it. Thanks for all the beautiful designs in this book and for a great website. Wishing you much success in all you do.
